New build two storey modular unit

The project is to undertake demolition of the existing Whitehouse and full design and construction of a turnkey modular facility over two storeys with associated external works and services connections. The ground floor comprises 26 bed level 1 ward and office accommodation with the first floor being constructed as shell only with the fit out being completed at a later date. The first floor will facilitate a 14 bed ITU in the future with both floors having connections to the existing hospital building. The project to achieve a BREEAM rating of 'Very Good'.

During the pre-construction period:

• Production of bid document

• Bid writing qualitative response to tender 

• Cost plan and prelims

• Programming the works

• Logistics planning of the work

Works on site:

• Management of the site, site supervision and health and safety management

• Certification and management of quality

• Progress reports and ongoing programming

• Management of setting out of the works

• Taking and holding of records
